Provides oversight of project implementation including all activities, outputs, and outcomes related to project management and administration, including reporting, budget development and monitoring, financial transactions, execution of project plans, and meeting of project performance criteria.
Providing strategic leadership and technical, operational, financial, and managerial decision-making leadership for successful implementation of project activities.
Overseeing the selection and training of qualified project staff, assigning clear roles and responsibilities, set clear goals and objectives, provide effective supervision, and manage performance to ensure efficient operations.
Ensuring the project produces the specified objectives and results in the annual goals and workplan(s) to the required standard of quality and within the prescribed timelines and budget parameters.
Recommending changes to a project that is ongoing, or develop an alternate course of action if it appears that the project is not proceeding on schedule, meeting its budget or is otherwise producing unsatisfactory results
Preparing, or aid in preparing memorandums with regards to project status, appointment of consultants, agents, contractors, suppliers, or vendor selections, recommendations for award of contracts, cost variations, value engineering, termination of contracts, or other such memorandums related to projects as necessary
